50 years- wow! While I may look like I have been out of school forever- I don’t feel like it has been 50 years.

I retired a few years ago from a 35 year career with FedEx. I was with Continental Airlines for 10 years prior to FedEx. I loved my work life and it gave me more opportunities than I could have imagined as a high school student.

I had a son and daughter, both are married and both ended up becoming successful attorneys. My son lives two blocks from me in Naples and my daughter now lives in her childhood home which is approximately a mile from
my house at Lake Waukomis.

My new passion since retirement is pickleball. Such a fun and social sport that I play everywhere I go! I play on a couple competitive teams in Florida. I did not play any sports in school and I think i may have missed out - as I love being on a competitive sports team!

Waking up at 0400 and sneaking down to Carla Guerra's house to go back to bed. Flunking band and home economics because getting home for the soap opera 'All My Children' was more important than class. I regret that while I love music, I cannot play an instrument. I don't really regret home economics. While I love to eat - I don't cook.
