Bradley Dean Hefner died December 6, 2023 after a lengthy illness.  He was born February 11, 1956 to Carolyn A. and Duane N. Hefner, in Lawrence, KS.  

He was a graduate of Park Hill High School and attended Southwest Missouri State College and Central Missouri State College, majoring in broadcasting.  He was a volunteer with the South Platte County Sports Assn. coaching youth baseball.  

Brad enjoyed a successful career in sales management for the hospitality industry, including several leading Kansas City hotels.  He was an avid Royals and Chiefs fan, as well as his beloved Jayhawks.  

Brad is survived by his sister, Dana Babcock (Douglas) of Platte City, and brothers Barry Hefner (Jackie Older-Hefner) of Kansas City, Scott M. Hefner (Cari) of Leawood, KS and Marc. C. Hefner (Jennifer) of Colleyville, TX, his father, Duane, of Kansas City, plus nine nieces and nephews.
