Sandi Jean Brooner, 66, of Noel, Missouri, departed this life on Monday afternoon, May 1, 2023, at McDonald County Living Center after months of failing health. 

Sandi entered this life on October 28, 1956, in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of the late Paul and Doris (Divine) Killion.  She was raised and attended school in Kansas City.  She moved to Noel, Missouri, in 1985, where she worked nearly thirty years in human resources at Tyson Foods.  She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and was a devoted caregiver to her father Paul for many years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary Brooner on November 5, 2016; and a sister and brother-in-law, Paula and Wayne Hoy. 

Sandi is survived by her two sons, Scott Powell of Noel and Chris Powell and wife, Kim, of Moyock, North Carolina; five grandchildren; a niece and nephew, Wendy Collins and Jeremy Hoy both of Noel; as well as a host of other family and friends. 

Those honoring her life by serving as pallbearers are Chris Powell, Jeremy Hoy, Mike Webb, Steven James, Jonathon Collins and Jimmy Killion.  Arrangements were under the direction of the Ozark Funeral Home in Noel, Missouri.  Burial was at Butler Creek Cemetery in Sulphur Springs, AR.
